Their use of light blues, yellows, greys and whites reminded me more of an incredibly popular third person shooter online game which was hugely popular during the pandemic more than their magical claim, but maybe I am biassed since we played it frequently during that time.

Games

Betzino only offers slots, live dealer and an occasional table game. If you are more interested in table games that are not of the live dealer variant, you will have to do some digging (there is a search option on the left hand menu). They use the services of 11 different game providers who have various game types and styles with the majority being slots. Pragmatic and Netent country limitations still stand when going into their games from a restricted country. You get a pop up and the game itself grey's out so you won’t even be able to see it.

They offer over 1000 games which gives for a wide variety. They are separated by Popular, New, Game Features, Betzino Favourites, Providers and All Games. For my review, I headed to the Providers section. Pragmatic, Netent, Evolutions Games and Red Tiger gave me the country errors, which was to be expected. Play’nGo games simply did not load. I tried Rise of Olympus 100, Book of Dead, Reactoonz, Perfect Gems and Sweet Alchemy before giving up. It is possible that the provider is Geolocked, but there is no real indication of why these games were not loading. Big Time gaming, Relax Gaming, Nolimit City, Quickspin, Spearhead and Gaming Corps worked just great and I had a ton of fun with those providers. 

Game Features is a subsection which can be found at the lower part of the home page. It is an area where they have conveniently sectioned off games based on certain criteria. For example, there is a button that says “Megaways” which when you click it will bring up all the games with the Megaways feature. There are 26 different categories you can choose from to help narrow down your search for the perfect game. I find this option very helpful since they have over 1000 games to choose from, it does help filter through the games that don’t quite fit my idea of a good time.

For this article I opted to deposit using BTC with my wallet. It was available to play in the casino within 2 minutes with no additional fees required when depositing.

How to make a withdrawal using Cryptocurrency:

1. Click on Profile (there is a white button on the left hand side of the homepage)

2. Click on Withdraw 

3. Select the method which you would like to process the withdrawal with, for this article we opted for BTC withdrawal to bypass the KYC process

4. Select the amount you would like to withdraw

5. Enter your wallet address

6. Click on the Withdraw button and you will now wait for the withdrawal to be processed.

The withdrawal took roughly 6 hours to process into my wallet. This beat their average 24 hour turnaround time as stated on the website. It was an overall pleasant experience.

Customer support

Betzino offers Support using Email and Live Chat. Their Live chat is available between 10:00 and 23:00 daily however when their chat is offline, it will be replaced by a “send an email” button which will direct you to their templated email option. They do also have their FAQ section which is thorough, but there is nothing better than “talking” to another human regarding any issues you may encounter.

I had a really good experience with their customer support. I dealt with two different agents and both were polite, quick, knowledgeable and friendly.

Geos and Languages

There is a rather long list of players who are not able to enjoy Betzino. Platform compatibility

This casino is fully mobile friendly and works in both landscape and portrait modes. I did find landscape to be more user friendly for me personally, but it was just as responsive in portrait mode if you prefer that style of gaming.

Site Response Time

The response time on both the website version and the mobile version is sluggish and disappointing. Usually I would chime in with save the cookies and this will help, but it doesn’t on this site which is a flaw from the developers side. The mobile conversion from landscape to portrait and back also takes some time (above average) for it to adjust which is not a good look for sites these days. This does need some work, but if you are patient and this doesn’t affect you and your game play, it is worth overlooking.

Security and Community Reputation

There is no strict security when it comes to Betzino. You simply need an email and password to log in with. There is no option to set up a 2FA profile anywhere on the site, or under the profile option of the account. Their highest sense of security is the SMS verification you are sent on registration. Be sure to choose a long complicated password when registering to ensure the safety and privacy of your account.Taking a look at the community reputation, it is not looking too magical for this small casino. Casino Guru has given them a 6.9/10 noting unfair terms and conditions. Trustpilot has a few player reviews with no response from Betzino themselves, so it is a biassed 2.3/5. There is no information on Bitcointalk.org relating to this casino.

Alternatives

When looking at online casinos, we look for something that “has it all” which can become overwhelming if all you want to do is wind down after a long day, or if you are looking to make the commute to work go a little faster. I come to you with some “less is more” alternatives to this casino with just that energy.

Betzino has a lot to offer in terms of game providers and an overall okay experience. The reviews from people are disappointing, I had a great time playing here. I went through the relevant channels and checked all the boxes. It is a very simplistic casino and has a good vibe to it, but reading through the other reviews I feel you may have a hard time and will lose out on any deposits or withdrawals if you don’t check each and every box they require. I would proceed with caution if you are from one of the restricted countries as a VPN will not bypass their inhouse systems.
