First impressions & account set up
The first impression we got from CryptoThrills was that of a well equipped crypto casino. There are more than enough games available with a very wide offering of slots and video slots without missing of course classic table games. On the left you have the casino's menu bar where all the useful shortcuts are: bonus codes activation, the cashier, the blog, your account and other expected buttons. The cashier can be accessed from the top left of his page. The crypto casinos active promotions are rolling in the header and below them follows the full list of games available.
First things first though and starting from the registration process, to create an account on CryptoThrills one needs to provide an email address, a password, their username, a phone number, choose their coin and they are good to go. While some people won't like to provide details as their phone number to an unregulated crypto casino, rest assured that CryptoThrills doesn't require email address verification therefore using a fake email address isn't an issue. The same goes with the phone number.
Overall, the impression one gets is of a traditional style brand as it doesn't have crypto games like crash or hi-lo. It focuses on offering a chill crypto gambling experience where players can deposit quickly with the coin of their choosing and enjoy classic casino games.
Accepts US players
Generous bonus offering
Few coins available
CryptoThrills was famous for its very generous bonus offering and particular no deposit offers which allowed you to check the casino with bonus funds first and should you enjoy it then make a proper deposit. However the last couple of months it has been difficult to find no deposit offers online; not impossible but difficult.
Despite this, CryptoThrills still has one of the most generous bonus offerings in the industry. Its main welcome bonus is a 250% deposit bonus up to 1 BTC combined with 50 Free Spins on the 7 Chakras which is an Hindu themed slot game and their most generous so that bonus combined with a decent first deposit will allow you to play for long. Then, CryptoThrills has a few weekly or daily offers which are constantly updated in order to keep the players excited and engaged. When this review was written, additional offers available were Free Spins Wednesday where with 1 mBTC deposit players get 218% deposit match up to 252 mBTC and 56 free spins on Red Hot Slots. The alternative with a minimum deposit of 0.5 mBTC was a 219% match bonus up to 300 mBTC and 62 free spins on Return of Ra.
A couple of important bonus related terms of the brand are: in order to process a bonus cashout, even a no-deposit one, players must have made a deposit at some point to prove they aren't bonus abusers and that while playing with bonus balance, your bets shouldn't exceed 1 mBTC otherwise your winnings will be voided. Both these terms are quite a turn of making the bonuses seem less attractive.
CryptoThrills has many casino games to choose from with new additions on a weekly basis so you will usually find something new to try if you are the type of player who gets bored easily. The games available include slots, video slots, poker, roulette, blackjack, keno and superkeno. Not having a sportsbook available takes a few points away from CryptoThrills but what disappointed us was the lack of crypto games like dice or coinflip. These games have created a fan base over the years and it's expected from pure crypto casinos to have at least of them available.
While we couldn't find the game providers listed somewhere in the site, after checking with the support staff we were informed these are Saucify, Rival, Betsoft, Ezugi, EBet and Original Spirit.
Coins & payment methods
CryptoThrills is a pure crypto casino meaning you can deposit, play and cashout in crypto without having to see the dollar sign ever but its coin offering is limited. Specifically, the coins available are Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin with which players can deposit and cashout. As most crypto casinos though, to facilitate players, one can also deposit on CryptoThrills using their credit card, MasterCard to be precise, and their balance will immediately be converted to the coin of their choosing.
The deposit process is very straightforward and you should expect to have your funds available to bet in less than 10 minutes from your request. No need for verification or any specific terms; the moment your coins arrive you can play. The withdrawal process is slightly different. The minimum limit increases from 1 mBTC to 10 mBTC and it takes longer usually; close to 20 minutes depending on the amount. While KYC isn't officially requested there is a chance you will be requested to do so. In the extreme case this happens and you don't want to share it, don't back down. Forums and other communities await for your unsatisfied client posts.
Since CryptoThrills is completely unregulated it is also available to players from any country around the world apart from Slovenia for some bizarre reason. However, despite the brand accepting all geos, some governments have blocked the website in their jurisdictions. In that case, the use of a VPN connection is the best option you have to access CryptoThrills. From it's side the casino doesn't condemn but openly allows such practices so nothing to be afraid of there.
Customer support is pretty standard on CryptoThrills. There is email and livechat support both available 24/7. While the livechat doesn't take long to reply, we weren't very happy with some answers we got. Also, during the approximately 10 minutes chat we had, we changed two customer support agents which made communication a bit slower due to the repeated back and forth.
Security and safety
CryptoThrills is for the brave as with most unregulated casino operators. There aren't provably fair games or any other system to reassure you are being treated fairly and since the brand holds no license whatsoever you don't know who to contact to express your concerns. In general, contacting customer service should be enough to sort your issues but if that doesn't work your only option is to use the crypto community.
As mentioned in the introduction, CryptoThrills has a mixed reputation. It has been around since 2019 which is a decent amount of time and has shown interest in the crypto community. It was first announced on BitcoinTalk and was active on Twitter as well as a Telegram group and other spaces where the crypto community is active. Nevertheless, there are a few complaints from some players in the forums. Those vary but usually are about delayed cashouts and rejected payments. It's easy to understand why players will be unhappy with a x60 playthrough requirement or being able to cash out up to 10 mBTC but the terms are what they are and they are laid out clearly.
We also contacted customer service to confirm ourselves whether such terms are correct and the operator did confirm so. But, it's best for one to shape their own personall opinion and the best way doing so is by checking CryptoThrill's BitcoinTalk thread and see with your own eyes how the casino has treated smaller or bigger problems.
The biggest advantages of CryptoThrills are ease of transactions, promos and no geo block. With those parameters in mind we would recommend the following crypto casinos as alternative picks:
7Bit Casino similarly to CryptoThrills offers a classic casino product without a sportsbook. its bonus offering is equally generous and is available in English, French, Italian, Polish, Norwegian, Russian, Finnish, Japanese and German.
BitcoinCasino.us isn't as well equipped as CryptoThrills is but on the other hand it has more coins available and an equally if not more generous bonus offering. Most importantly it's also available to US players.
All in all, CryptoThrills is a classic casino which accepts cryptocurrencies. It's ideal for fans of slots and other traditional games as the registration and payment process are both easy to complete. But for those who want something more modern with a group chat and perhaps an available faucet, CryptoThrills won't do.
